Overview
Plays an integral support role in the development, implementation and coordination of annual and rolling 12-18-month marketing plans and programs across the marketing mix including digital for assigned brands/products across the UK Trading Channels
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist in the development, implementation and communication of appropriate annual and rolling 12-month brand plans, programs and promotions. Demonstrates an understanding of customer and end-user needs and wants to deliver suitable initiatives.
- Proactively monitors and controls key initiatives, appropriate budgets, forecasts, plans, programs, and measures of success to achieve required EBITDA and Sales goals.
- Supports in development of channel plans for assigned brand(s), working in collaboration with Marketing Manager and Digital E-Commerce Manager. Uses shopper and channel insights, along with strategic growth drivers to deliver programs across marketing mix including digital activation in support of channel and customer priorities.
- Manages assigned projects e.g. advertising, promotions, shows & events, sampling, POS development, digital activation etc., working with Marketing Manager to deliver key objectives.
- Responsible for regularly tracking and updating A&P budgets under the direction of supervisor. Prepares monthly business reviews for presentation to Marketing Manager.
- Develops creative briefs to support identified business initiatives. Manages agency partners to deliver final concepts and deliverables including day to day contact and support, providing updates and reviews.
- Works with Marketing Manager, Digital & E-Commerce Manager, Product Development Manager and cross-functionally on new and promotional SKU product launches including development and creation of the plans to include digital activations and post-launch analysis.
- Collects and reports market trends and competitive activity from industry sources, market visits, press, online etc. in support of channel planning and monthly reports.
- Presents plans at Sales Meetings and Channel Forums demonstrating support of fiscal goals, including contribution and EBITDA.
- Supports the NPD process, coordinates artwork, claim support documentation and approval of all communications through Quality Assurance, R&D and Legal teams.
- Works with Digital E-Commerce Manager to develop key brand initiatives across Customer’s online platforms and social media to improve physical and mental availability of our brands, as directed by UK Marketing Manager.
- Collects and summarizes primary and secondary data from internal and external sources to highlight the efficiency and effectiveness of various marketing initiatives across brands and channels, including recommendations on improvements.
- Perform other related activities as needed to support corporate objectives. Act in the best interest of the company by applying stated corporate values and priorities to all communications, decisions, and actions.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in business or marketing ideally CIM.
