In this role, you'll leverage insights to create and develop defined shopper-related marketing plans for all brands across assigned channels and accounts within the defined go-to-market framework to satisfy the needs of targeted shoppers and enhance the omnichannel shopping experience.
- Responsible for the development and execution of strategic, account-specific omnichannel go-to-market plans and opportunities through collaboration with sales, digital, research, and supply chain to synthesize an array of inputs that translate into the activation and execution of shopper-related marketing plans, including customer-centric digital content and messaging.
- Creates channel and account-specific go-to-market execution plans and tactics within defined national brand campaigns and programs, innovation launches, and other product initiatives that align with Brand, Digital, Innovation, and Sales.
- Develops and executes account-specific marketing activities, such as Special Packs, POP support elements, displays, merchandising, etc., in collaboration with sales and agency partners/vendors.
- Serves as a strategic partner in new product launches
- Partners with sales leaders to develop and execute channel segmentation templates and plans.
- Ensures channel activation plans are executed on time, within budget, and achieve defined ROI metrics.
- Leads the creation and utilization of Shopper and End-User insights to satisfy the needs of targeted shoppers, enhance the shopping experience, and improve business results and brand equity for both WD-40 Company and our Customer Partners.
- Participates in and attends sales calls in partnership with Sales ensuring the engagement of category leadership principles and marketing principles in developing customer joint business plans and presentations to enhance partnerships and category and brand growth.
- Identifies, communicates, and recommends trade narratives to neutralize and outpace competitive threats across major markets.
- Recommends shopper research needs.
- Provide input to annual fiscal year plan development in addition to long term strategic plans
- Engages and manages agency partners.
- Accountable for the analysis and reporting of in-market activation analytics, including ROI and post-promo analysis and corrective action recommendations in collaboration with brand teams.

- 7 + years' relevant experience in sales and marketing in the CPG industry
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to create and execute customer-specific marketing activation plans.
- Demonstrated ability to complete multiple objectives that span staggered time periods ranging up to two years
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field
- Ability to travel up to 25% to 35%
