Overview
As a Customer Relations Specialist, you'll be working closely with our customers and cross-functional teams to understand customer service needs, process orders, and ensure orders are completed effectively.

This role is a full-time, two-year fixed-term position.
What You’ll Be Doing
The Customer Relations Specialist is responsible for coordinating documentation, follow-through, and processing customer orders for assigned accounts. In addition, this person will review and maintain all customer files needed both within and outside of the ERP system. The successful candidate will be passionate about solving problems and building relationships to ensure high service levels for internal and external customers.
- Process and manage orders while applying independent thinking and alignment with functional areas within WD-40 to deliver orders on time and in full. Evaluate orders to ensure accuracy. Create and maintain SOPs to meet customer requirements. The CR Team is the first point of contact for our DC's and Logistics partners.
- Manages domestic orders adhering to company policies, controls, guidelines to meet customer requirements. Communicate and coordinate with logistics team, warehouses third-party logistics companies to assure orders are fulfilled, shipped, and delivered on time. Create and maintain SOP's to meet customer requirements for service levels.
- Interacts daily with Customer Relations Analyst to maintain and manage customer master files in our ERP system. Customer Master files are one of the main drivers for processing the perfect transaction. Effective management of data pertaining to customer Master files will support our customer's needs while increasing our efficiencies and decreasing costs.
- Manages pricing and delivery issues for all orders – the goal is to be proactive and correct any problems that prevent us from processing the perfect transaction. Successful management of pricing and delivery controls will increase efficiencies within the customer Relations Department, resulting in a direct contribution to company profits.
- Provides support with the development & implementation of processes and systems related to the CRM & ERP implementation.
- Provides ongoing support to business process mapping sessions to the ERP system with subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Manages voicemail to assist internal and external customers and handles all calls immediately and professionally, ensuring superior customer service.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
- 3+ years of experience in order processing, database maintenance, customer service, discrepancy resolution
- High School diploma or 3-5 years' equivalent experience in relevant field.
- Experience working with MS Office applications, familiarity with ERP and CRM systems a plus.
