Overview
We are looking for a passionate Human Resources Recruiter/ Generalist to join our amazing HR team and champion our strong tribal culture. This role will be responsible for leading talent acquisition (60% – 70%) in addition to other generalist duties in the areas of compensation administration, employee relations, performance management and regulatory maintenance e for the Americas (U.S., Canada,and Latin America) business. In addition, the successful applicant will collaborate with the HR Director to provide employee and leadership development support.

What You’ll Be Doing
Talent Acquisition
- Manage full cycle recruitment for positions within the Americas
- Partner with leaders to understand current and future hiring needs
- Source, attract and assess candidates for open positions
- Proactively develop and maintain talent networks, employment branding and Recruiting Ambassadors to meet anticipated and unanticipated workforce needs.
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies, activities and metrics.
- Educate and coach leaders on effective interview and selection techniques as well as best practices in all aspects of the hiring process.
- Champion the optimal candidate experience.
Compensation & HRIS
- Enter and maintain employee data in HR Information System
- Guide the promotion, merit and compensation adjustment process/administration in support of the organization’s pay for performance philosophy.
- Educate leaders of compensation philosophy and procedures, provide guidance related to compensation decisions.
Performance Management & Employee Relations
- Assist leaders with the performance management principles and methodologies as well as provides guidance on performance review tools, practices and documentation.
- Responsible for advising, coaching and influencing employees and leaders on policies and best practices.
Regulatory
- Responsible for regulatory compliance activities such as the Affirmative Action Plan and program actions, wage and hour audits for nonexempt roles, collaborating with facilities staff on OSHA and safety requirements, participates in the safety committee as the representative from HR, attends regulatory updates and maintains knowledge of current events in local, state and national laws, etc.
- Advise on policy application in the areas of educational reimbursement, vacation, sick time, etc.
- Support the review and maintenance of the employee handbook, for U.S. employees, in collaboration with the HR leader for corporate departments.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
- 5+ years of experience within HR with broad knowledge of policies and best practices.
- 5+ year full cycle recruiting experience for a wide variety of professional level positions including sales, marketing and finance/accounting.
- 2+ years of experience maintaining HRIS and/or ATS
- Broad knowledge of employment law
- General knowledge of compensation structures and philosophies and how they are applied
- Strong coaching and project management skills with the ability to translate business needs to people development and management program initiatives
- Proven success applying broad business knowledge in support of leaders and employees at all levels.
- General knowledge of business management principles, operations and the various functions of a business
- Ability to manage and prioritize busy workload
- Ability to take initiative and navigate through uncertainty
- Excellent communication skills to include: Customer service, follow-through, clarifying needs, and implementing solutions with minimal guidance
- Professional HR certification a plus (i.e, SHRM or PHR)
