CONSUMER PRODUCT SAFETY IMPROVEMENT ACT (CPSIA)

The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) of 2008 became law in August 2008.  WD-40 Company has reviewed the requirements of the legislation to ensure our full compliance.

WD-40 Company has determined that the only products we manufacture that are subject to a mandatory performance standard, for which a certification of compliance is required, are those listed below.

These products must be sold in special packaging that meets the requirements of the Poison Prevention Packaging Act (PPPA). Accordingly, WD-40 Company will furnish its customers of these products with a General Certificate of Conformity that the product is in full conformance with the applicable regulations of the PPPA.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has stated that manufacturers may provide the General Certificate of Conformity by any of several means, including posting it on a publicly available website. The necessary certification for the products listed below can be found in Adobe PDF format.
